Education
When an individual thinks of becoming educated, most commonly he thinks first about formal schooling. Formal schooling exists in a classroom setting where a teacher provides curriculum according to an accepted plan of what must be learned. In the United States, a standardized testing system helps set the rules for what curriculum and lessons a teacher should be teaching. Programs such as No Child Left Behind, which was instituted by George W. Bush during his presidency, create a way to measure how much each child is learning across different school systems to ensure that all children receive a minimum level of knowledge and book learning.
Formal classroom learning generally starts when a child is relatively young — age five in the United States — and continues until the child has reached adulthood. The purpose of most classroom learning is not to prepare a child for a specific job, but instead to prepare a child to develop critical reasoning and thinking skills that he will use in further academic and career pursuits. Courses such as math, science, English, composition, writing, history and geography are all common. In the earlier grades, more basic skills such as reading, writing and arithmetic are taught, making these early educational classes vital for survival in the world.
For today's generation, education is a very important tool to achieve our goals. As a matter of fact, having an education is power of being a person.
Inspiration
Its her hair and her eyes today that just simply take me away and the feelings that I'm falling further in love makes me shiver, but in a good way. All the times I have sat and stared as she thoughtfully thumbs through her hair as she purses her lips, bats her eyes and she plays, with me sitting there slack jawed and nothing to say cause i love her with all that i am and my voice shakes along with my hands cause she's all that i see and she's all that I need and I'm out of my league once again.
Its a masterful melody when she calls out my name to me as the world spins around her she laughs, rolls her eyes and I feel like I'm falling but its no surprise cause i love her with all that i am and my voice shakes along with my hands 'cause its frightening to be swimming in this strange sea but I'd rather be here than on land. Yes shes all that i see and she's all that i need and I'm out of my league once again.
Charlie Sheen
The Two and a Half Men actor spent the last weekend partying with a bevy of porn stars from the Las Vegas Adult Entertainment Expo, renting the Hugh Hefner Sky Villa inside the Fantasy Tower at the Palms Casino Resort.
Charlie is said to have enjoyed a “revolving door” of gorgeous women visiting him in the suite, among them porn star Bree Olsen and heavily tattooed model Michelle — who was at the center of the marriage breakdown between Sandra Bullock and her husband Jesse James last year, after it emerged he had an affair with her.
According to gossip website TMZ, Bree met Michelle when they kissed onstage at a comedy show at The Palms on Sunday, and they later went back to Charlie’s penthouse, to find it a “trainwreck inside”.
An insider at the hotel said the 45-year-old actor had had a wild weekend and his $40,000-per-night suite — which has an outdoor terrace with cantilevered Jacuzzi tub, personal massage room, dry sauna and an eight-foot, round, rotating bed with mirrored ceiling – had been “total party central”.
“It was vintage Charlie all weekend. He had a revolving door of gorgeous women, porn stars and Vegas elite coming and going throughout his stay, total party central,” a source said.
“Within minutes of arriving the girls were stripped off and in the Jacuzzi. There was a constant flow of alcohol arriving from room service and basically, the party didn’t stop.
“Charlie hardly left his room, he was basically holed up the entire time, with the exception of a couple of forays down to the hotel bar.
“He was definitely in full party mode and it looked like a bomb had hit the suite. There were empty bottles strewn all over and all manner of adult-related items left around, especially in the massage room and bedroom.
“I don’t envy the cleaning staff that had to go in there when he checked out this morning that’s for sure!”
Another source added they think Charlie — who has struggled with drink and drug addiction in the past — is “out of control”.Nikki Haley
A wintry mix that blanketed the state Monday forced Haley's transition and inaugural teams to reschedule her pre-inaugural family friendly event, initially planned for Tuesday night, and created a lot of work for set-up crews of the outdoor ceremony.

The Chipmunks
Bagdasarian Prods, owner of the "Alvin and the Chipmunks" franchise, is suing EMI Music for allegedly failing to pay appropriate royalties on a boxed set of Chipmunks music featuring 24 songs.
The Chipmunks were created in 1958 by Ross Bagdasarian, Sr., and became an instant success -- perhaps the best-selling gimmick in entertainment history.
By taking his own voice and speeding it up to a high pitch, Bagdasarian was able to create several chart-toppers, grabbing a Grammy nomination for record of the year for "The Chipmunk Song (Christmas Don't Be Late)," as well as Grammy wins for engineering.
The novelty was later translated into animated TV shows, hit feature films and, coming later this year, Chipmunks in 3D.
The franchise now resides with Ross Bagdasarian, Jr., who has not been afraid to sue his Hollywood partners. Last year, for instance, he filed a massive lawsuit against 20th Century Fox for half of the profits on "The Squeakquel," which grossed more than $200 million in theaters. (The dispute is still pending and was recently appealed up to the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals to determine whether it should be adjudicated in district court or by arbitration.)
Now it's EMI's turn to experience the sounds of a high-pitched lawsuit.
In a complaint filed last week in U.S. District Court in California, Bagdasarian demands damages for breach of contract and copyright infringement. Considering that 24 songs are alleged to be infringed, each possibly subject to statutory damages of up to $150,000, that's potentially $3.6 million over songs including "America the Beautiful," "Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star," and "On Top of Old Smokey."
The terms of the mechanical license allegedly require EMI to pay Bagdasarian about 9 cents per musical composition reproduced or distributed whether or not sold, or 1.75 cents per minute of playing time for each musical composition.
Bagdasarian says that a recent audit conducted revealed that EMI owed royalties.
A spokesperson from EMI wasn't available immediately to respond.

Fort Bragg
When was the last time you went to the Guest House Museum? It’s a great place to learn the history of Fort Bragg.
Sip and See
C’mon people, this is “Housewives of Atlanta” we’re talking about – of course it won’t! The two got into a war of words after Zolciak criticized Parks’ totally over the top baby shower, which aired last fall. But now that they’ve talked it out, Parks claims she’d be happy to plan the five-months-pregnant Zolciak’s shower.
“If she needs me to help with her baby shower, I will definitely do that with pleasure!” Parks told Us Weekly over the weekend.
Still, the two have such explosive personalities, and “RHOA” is so high on the drama, that I have a feeling they’ll be sniping again before season’s end. What do you think?
Fox 4 News Kansas City
Baltimore chose to receive, after the draw, and turned the disc into their class’s three points with a goal on the field. Kansas City was unable to gain any yardage on their first possession of the ball, but after punting Baltimore managed to recover a fumble at the line from Baltimore to 46 yards, which they then converted into a touchdown. This was the first quarter.
The second quarter was a picture of frustration for both teams. Heads fumbled a ball that Baltimore recovered but has not been able to convert into points. Baltimore is a passing game and the Chiefs play the race. I expect in the locker room at halftime, something will be changed on both sides.

Plano ISD
Here's an excerpt:
"With this smaller group you can touch students more," said longtime Allen ISD teacher Mary Ann Weaver as she reminded a girl to carry the 1.
That remains a popular sentiment among Texas educators, many of whom decry state legislators' recent recommendations to scrap the cap on elementary school classes.
But for all the concern about packed classrooms, experts have found little evidence that slightly larger classes deter learning. A commonly used waiver means hundreds of the state's kindergarten through fourth-grade classes already exceed the current, 22-student limit for those grades.
With financially drained districts eyeing millions in possible savings, legislators aren't the only ones reassessing the value of the decades-old philosophy.

Plano ISD Superintendent Doug Otto suggested bumping the cap up two students.
"We have to figure out a way to work with the new reality with less dollars," he told me. The district faces at least $10 million in cuts next year. "This gives us a lot more flexibility. It protects fairly small class sizes, but you don't have to try and balance your budget on the backs of older students all the time."
The district can't apply for a waiver because it doesn't meet the qualifications. It has enough extra space and can hire a teacher, if needed. But all of that costs, Otto said.
"Right now we are looking for a middle ground," he said.

Love Story
Lesson?
Take every single moment momentous. Take time to appreciate the importance if the person loving you. And try to think of what is the right choice to be choose. Because it could be too late to realize the mistakes we already does.
Tuna Industry
For this reason, fishing is a PhP50 billion industry in the Philippines. It contributes about 4% of the country’s GNP. With an annual production volume of 2.4 million metric tons of fish, it directly provides livelihood and employment to over one million Filipinos.Tuna is among the 200 or so species of fish found in the country that have high commercial value. The Philippines ranks 7th among the top tuna producing countries in the world, both in terms of fresh/frozen tuna and canned tuna.
Indeed, These salient special features of the General Santos Fish Port Complex could well be competitive with the international fish port facilities catering the ever growing tuna industry of General Santos City.
Chocolate Hills
The Chocolate Hills are a famous tourist attraction of Bohol. They are featured in the provincial flag and seal to symbolize the abundance of natural attractions in the province. They are in the Philippine Tourism Authority's list of tourist destinations in the Philippines; they have been declared the country's third National Geological Monument and proposed for inclusion in the UNESCO World Heritage.
The Chocolate Hills is a must see for kids and the child of heart its because many said it looks like a true delicious chocolate. It's a wonder of nature and is one of the most recommended tourist attractions in the Philippines. When you get to the Chocolate Hills you'll be immediately convinced that this is not man made. The name Chocolate Hills come from the grass on the hills that turn chocolate brown during the dry season in the Philippines. The hills are cone-shaped, about the same size, and cover an area of 50 square kilometers. It's a natural wonder once you get a chance to see them. There isn't an exact count of the hills comprising the Chocolate Hills. Though the estimate of 1,268 hills isn't really off. The Chocolate Hills baffle geologists. There is a debate among them regarding the origin of the Chocolate Hills. There is an explanation of the origin of the Chocolate Hills in a bronze plaque on the observation deck you'll find there. The plaque says that the Chocolate Hills were the result of erosion, but you can be sure that is not the only explanation geologists have given. There are two famous legends that explain the origin of the Chocolate hills. The popular one is about two giants who hurled rocks and boulders during a fight between them. They got really exhausted after a few days of fighting. They soon forgot what started the conflict and left the place as friends. The funny part is that both giants forgot to clean up the mess they made, which became the chocolate hills. The romantic one associated with this tourist attraction is about a giant named Arogo who fell in love with a mortal named Aloya. When Aloya died Arogo cried in anguish, his tear drops fell to the earth and dried up forming the Chocolate hills. When visiting the Chocolate Hills you'll have a place to stay at the Chocolate Hills Complex, its a little hotel-restaurant with a swimming pool and an observation deck. You may also go to the Sagbayan Peak mountain resort. It also has its own observation deck, swimming pools, a children's park, a butterfly dome, a hotel, and a tarsier sanctuary. A golf course is also in the making.
Today, Bohol's Chocolate Hills is said to be someday's most visit place here in Philippines. It is why Filipinos are making it more delightful and more attractive to tourists.
Banaue Rice Terraces
The Banaue Rice Terraces(Tagalog: Hagdan-hagdang Palayan ng Banawe) is located in the northern part of the country. The Banaue Rice Terraces is known to Filipinos as the 8th wonder of the world. It has been carved into the mountains by the indigenous people of Mountain Province and Ifugao more than 2000 years ago. The Banaue Rice Terraces is included in the Unesco World Heritage List in 1995.
Locals to this day still plant rice and vegetables on the terraces, although more and more younger Ifugaos do not find farming appealing, often opting for the more lucrative hospitality industry generated by the Rice Terraces[citation needed]. The result is the gradual erosion of the characteristic "steps", which need constant reconstruction and care. In 2010 a further problem was drought, with the terraces drying up completely in March of that year.
